Tap Get Audio from Video on the home screen, then pick a video from your camera roll or from Files. Pluck extracts the audio track and opens it in the editor.
Trim keeps the selected part and throws away the rest. Cut removes the selected part and joins what's left together.
Drag across the waveform with one finger to scrub and hear the audio. Pinch with two fingers to zoom in, then either drag the blue handles or scrub to a spot and tap Set Start / Set End to lock the exact point. The ? button in the app has a full gesture guide.
M4A is small and perfect for sharing or messaging. WAV is uncompressed, full quality — best if you'll keep editing the audio elsewhere.
After exporting, the share sheet opens — from there you can save to Files, AirDrop it, message it, or send it to any app on your phone.
No. Everything happens on your iPhone. Pluck has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. See the privacy policy.
Pluck can open any audio or video format iOS itself understands (M4A, MP3, WAV, AAC, MOV, MP4, and more). If a file won't open, it may use an unusual codec or be DRM-protected (for example, Apple Music streaming files can't be edited). If you think it should work, email me the details.
