The audio files and videos you open with Pluck are processed entirely on your iPhone. They are never uploaded, sent to a server, or shared with us or anyone else. Pluck has no servers of its own.
Pluck doesn't ask you to sign up for anything, doesn't include any analytics or tracking libraries, and shows no ads. We have no way of knowing who you are or how you use the app — and that's by design.
When you pick a video from your camera roll, iOS shows you a system picker and hands Pluck only the item you chose — Pluck never sees the rest of your library. Files you open through the Files browser work the same way. Picked files are copied temporarily inside the app's own sandbox for editing and are cleaned up by iOS automatically.
When you export audio, the file is created on your device and offered through the iOS share sheet. Where it goes from there (Messages, AirDrop, Files, another app) is entirely your choice and happens under that app's privacy policy, not ours — Pluck itself keeps no copy and no record.
Pluck does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. Since Pluck collects nothing, don't expect much drama here.
